Lus.expert organize course titled:
“Lung ultrasound with elements of echocardiography and chest interventional diagnostic”
This workshop provides intermediate and advanced lung ultrasound skills, basic echocardiographic and chest interventional diagnostic skills. This course is dedicated for physicians who would like to improve their efficiency in diagnosis cardio-pulmonary diseases using ultrasonography.
Workshop: The following topics will be covered in the workshop in groups of 2 participants with live models:
- Repetition of the content of the basic lung ultrasound: chest anatomy, basic artifacts, normal lung pattern, pleural cavity
- Extend of lung ultrasound to differential diagnostic of consolidations, pathological artifacts
- Chest intervetional diagnostic: thoracocenthesis and pericardiocenthesis - training on phantom, biopsy – training on phantoms
- Basic echocardiography for non-cardiology specialisation: anatomy, technique, the frequent heart disorder
Lecture: The following topics will be covered in the lectures
- Repetition of the content of the basic lung ultrasound: chest anatomy, basic artifacts, normal lung pattern, pleural cavity, pleural effusion, pneumothorax
- Extend of lung ultrasound to differential diagnostic: pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, lung tumors, atelectasis, cardiac and non-cardiac oedema, interstitial lung diseases
- Chest intervetional diagnostic
- Basic echocardiography for non-cardiology specialisation: anatomy, technique, the frequent heart disorder
- Advanced interactive session based on case reports
Post-course training (e-learning) included: self-education and repetition with the lus.expert portal. It will remain accessible for 12 months after the course. All e-learning is in English.
