Lus.expert organize course titled:
“Lung ultrasound in rheumatology”
This workshop provides basic and intermediate lung ultrasound skills. This course is dedicated for physicians who would like to improve their efficiency in diagnosis pulmonary lesions in the course of rheumatology diseases using ultrasonography.
Workshop: The following topics will be covered in the workshop in groups of 2 participants with live models:
- Basic lung ultrasound: chest anatomy, basic artifacts, normal lung pattern, pleural cavity
- Lung ultrasound to differential diagnostic of consolidations, pathological artifacts
- Lung ultrasound in diagnosis common pulmonary lessions in the course of rheumatology diseases
Lecture: The following topics will be covered in the lectures
- Basic lung ultrasound: chest anatomy, basic artifacts, normal lung pattern, pleural cavity, pleural effusion, pneumothorax
- Basic lung ultrasound to differential diagnostic: pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, lung tumors, atelectasis, cardiac oedema,
- Lung ultrasound in: interstitial lung diseases (based on sclerodermia examples), vasculitis, diffuse alveolar haemorhage
- Interactive session based on case reports
Post-course training (e-learning) included: self-education and repetition with the lus.expert portal. It will remain accessible for 12 months after the course. All e-learning is in English.
